Global Wood Rework was created in 2011 with a single objective: to reduce the amount of timber going into Wellington's Southern Landfill. This is currently running at approximately 10,000 tonnes per annum. Rather than add to another environmental problem our skilled craftsmen prefer to use this wood - much of it in excellent condition - to produce something people need. 

 

Global Wood Rework makes items from this resource that every household can use, at a price everyone can afford. ​It sources wood from skips and building sites throughout the Wellington region.
